Remote Learning

Here you will find advice and guidance to support children's remote learning. You will also find useful information in 'Our Curriculum' section: Takeley Primary School - Our Curriculum (takeley-pri.essex.sch.uk) and its drop down menu sections.

Our key remote learning platform is 'Google Classroom' please visit https://classroom.google.com  please ensure that you are not logged into google on any other account on that device then add your child's username and password. You can get these by contacting your child's class teacher or by contacting the school office.

We also use 'Class Dojo' particularly for learning in our reception classes but also as a key tool to communicate between teachers, children and parents across the whole school. Please visit www.classdojo.com to log in. Contact the school office on 01279 870541 if you are having difficulties here.

Example Remote Learning Timetables:

Please click here for real examples of each year groups' remote learning timetable for a week. These are published each week in advance to help support parents in establishing a routine for children learning at home but also we hope establish some flexibility in when children can do some of the independent, video or digital platform approaches to learning.  Timetables along with further details including assignments, resources and 'live' sessions can be found for our Reception classes by logging on to www.classdojo.com or for all other classes via Google Classroom: https://classroom.google.com
